The Department of Infant and Child Care was established in 1996 with a two-year bachelor’s degree program. In 2001 the Department launched its master’s program, which provides advanced training in childcare and the management of childcare facilities; in 2002 the Department established its four-year bachelor’s degree program. Ours is the only Department at a national university in Taiwan providing professional training in infant and childcare.
