Characteristics
1.Combining childcare-related expertise with the nursing resources at NTUNHS.
Our Department benefits from a close relationship with the medical and nursing programs at the National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences (NTUNHS), and employs faculty who specialize in early childhood intervention and rare disorders amongst children from birth to six years old.
2.Being highly sensitive to social trends and training students to think independently and to work professionally.
Our department has long offered advice on government policies and issues regarding the childcare needs of various communities. In addition to our full-time faculty, we also arrange for a range of outside experts in various aspects of childcare to work along with the faculty to enhance students’ knowledge and practical skills, and to help students obtain childcare-related certifications.
3.Humanities education, overseas practicums, and a global perspective.
Our liberal arts courses and opportunities for volunteer service help students to become professionals and to develop sound moral character and an extensive understanding of the world. We also offer cooperative education programs and practicums which improve students’ ability in English and other languages and broaden their global perspectives.
