• August 1996: Department of Infant and Child Care established at National Taipei College of Nursing, admitting students to the Two-Year Technical Program.
• August 1996: Associate Professor Yang Chii appointed as the 1st Department Chair.
• August 2000: Associate Professor Huang Chien-Yi appointed as the 2nd Department Chair.
• August 2000: Teacher Education Center established at the university.
• August 2001: Master’s Program established.
• August 2002: Associate Professor Yang Hsiao-Ling appointed as the 3rd Department Chair.
• August 2002: Four-Year Technical Program launched.
• August 2005: Associate Professor Lai Chun-Chin appointed as the 4th Department Chair.
• August 2005: Professor Yang Chii retired.
• February 2006: Associate Professor Lin Min-Hui appointed as the 5th Department Chair.
• August 2008: Teacher Education Center phased out.
• August 2008: Professor Yang Chin-Pao appointed as the 6th Department Chair.
• August 2010: The university officially restructured and renamed National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences (NTUNHS).
• August 2011: Associate Professor Tuan Huei-Ying appointed as the 7th Department Chair.
• August 2012: Professor Lai Chun-Chin retired.
• August 2014: Associate Professor Huang Hsin-Hui appointed as the 8th Department Chair.
• August 2015: Associate Professor Lin Min-Hui retired.
• June 2017: International Montessori Master's Program established.
• August 2017: Associate Professor Ou Tzu-Hsiu appointed as the 9th Department Chair.
• February 2020: Post-Baccalaureate Program for Preschool Educators established.
• August 2020: Associate Professor Tuan Huei-Ying appointed as the 10th Department Chair.
• August 2021: Associate Professor Chang Hsiao-Yun retired.
• February 2022: Associate Professor Huang Chien-Yi retired.
• August 2022: Assistant Professor Wu Lan-Jo retired.
• August 2023: Associate Professor Yang Hsiao-Ling appointed as the 11th Department Chair.
• February 2025: Professor Yang Chin-Pao retired.
